The card back includes timely thoughts:
As world politics rage, God is calling His church to pray for Israel. This painting entitled “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” is based on a Biblical command with a promise. Psalm 122:6 states: “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem; may those who love you prosper.”
Believers may rejoice in the truth of Psalm 68:33-34 which declares: “…to Him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice. Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.”
The painting shows The Holy City of Jerusalem as seen from the Mount of Olives. The sky above includes "hidden" images such as the blowing of a Shofar, a Star of David, a rainbow, a dove, a struggle between angel and dragon, and a horse with rider. These represent the spiritual forces doing battle today.
